The Environmental Science undergraduate curriculum gives students the academic preparation necessary to pursue graduate studies and/or careers related to natural resources and the environment. The emphasis is on responsible stewardship, core courses focused on modular teaching and key skill development (such as Environmental Methods and Statistics), and a flexible curriculum that allows both breadth and focus. At the graduate level, the MS and MA degrees in Environmental Science offer students both a systematic, integrated approach to the study of natural resources and rigorous training in specific fields of study. Resource Management is a multidisciplinary program where students can chose from a wide selection of courses in geology, environmental science, geographic information systems, remote sensing, hydrology, environmental compliance and many others. This academic track is designed to develop the broad educational background and technical experience needed to map and help manage our land, air and water resources.
